"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
